| The Scottish Section Annual Dinner will this year be in the Stirling
area. As, in previous years we have tended to have our yearly outings in
Fife and the Lothians, it seemed only fair that we should move to other
locations nearer other regular meeting attendees. We shall be going to
the Royal Hotel, Bridge of Allan on the 30th Jan. so better put that in
your diaries. |

| George Corner is presently recovering from a hip operation but, this
will not stop him from attending the Annual dinner although it will put
a brake on racing his G3 in the 2009 season. We all hope you recover
quickly George.

| I’d like to formally welcome Alf to Scottish AMC van owners sub-section. My sources tell me that he can fit a Matchless in a Fiat Scudo van! We are full of wonder at its ability to achieve the apparently impossibly and look forward to sunny days in 2009 when we have dry, empty roads and fully working machines. |
